Set it thrice. Aim it twice. Fire it once.

Locomotivity

The first picture to capture my attention in the Railways shoot I did with a couple of good photographer friends. It was interesting in two fold: meeting pro photographers for the first time and shooting a similar theme. The sunset was lovely, it was windy..but we all knew the real action would be served come nightfall when the place got lit up.

This particular pic..oh my, it’s hilarious to me because I know some people after this will ask me when Kenya installed electric trains but hey..it’s just the shutter :). Hope ya’ll love it.

The 2nd of my fave pics. The oncoming train provided the perfect silhouette effect for the cabin on the left and the silver tracks in front. Makes me wonder why Kenya Railways doesn’t let trains commute at night?! The place is beautiful!

The only way I could sell this pic was just to create an eerie feel to it. Kinda like just walking thru’ a horror set. If this doesn’t give you goose bumps..you need to lay off those horrors your hooked to! They are numbing you!!

Much credit to Mutua Matheka for bringing to fruition the idea and execution for this shoot. God bless ya son.
